White's Treefrog Rememberance Gallery - 2003
This was taken the day before Baby Girl died. She was sitting on the counter while I changed her water and she crawled up into our little Jade tree and folder her hands into a position we call "Namaste" right at Shiva's feet. This antique brass Shiva statue is from India, depicting Lord Shiva as the god of meditation. I thought this was too beautiful a site to pass up taking a picture of it. The disposition of White's treefrogs is about as Buddhist as you can get., as you will see in other examples in this gallery. The are the embodiement of peace.
